Heather Cave (born April 3, 1993) is a British child actress who lives in Surrey, England. She is possibly best known for her role as Maisie Simm in Spooks.

Career

Her first appeared on television, at 5 years of age, in an advertisement in which she portrayed a girl who was not fully awake as she prepared her breakfast, unfortunately due to her slumberous state of mind she makes the mistake of pouring orange juice onto her Kellogg's Cornflakes. She followed this with several other TV commercials, including one for Disneyland.

She also appeared with her younger brother James in a sketch on the Armando Ianucci show, also appeared briefly in the Big Train Season 2, and The Safe House.

After this she took the role of Maisie Simms in Spooks, who she played for the entirety of the first season. Her character was the focus of the last frame of the season, with which the viewer was presented with the conundrum of whether she had died. She appeared again in the first episode of the second season.

Between series 1 and 2 of Spooks she appeared in the soap opera Doctors as a young Charlotte Matlock.

Her parents then took her to live in Texas for three years where she attended Fielder Elementary and Cinco Ranch Junior High School. She was moved from England, where she attended Collingwood Primary School to Texas, she returned after 3 years and is now in Year 13 of Old Palace of John Whitgift School, Croydon.

After her return she appeared in 'Dollby City' for CBBC's Gina's Laughing Gear and as French exchange student Monique in EastEnders. Following another role in Doctors, she appeared in the recent Harvester restaurant advertisements, and also BBC's Waking The Dead.
